‘Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.” Proverbs 3:3, 4
"There is a difference between living in the favor of God and living for the pleasure of men. It is one thing to be merciful, kind, and truthful to all so you will have God and man’s favor. It’s another thing to want to please men more than to please God! It is very important to know whether your motives are to please God or to please man. We should be merciful, kind, and truthful to all. If our motives are to please God then mercy, kindness, and truth will be a part of our everyday lives. Only then will you truly reap the benefits of God’s favor upon your life.
"You were bought at a price, do not become slaves of men." 1 Corinthians 7:23
