Moments In Time

He's Coming Soon...

Revelation 22:7 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And behold, I am coming speedily. Blessed (happy and to be envied) is he who observes and lays to heart and keeps the truths of the prophecy (the predictions, consolations, and warnings) contained in this [little] book.

Revelation 22:12-16 King James Version (KJV)
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Revelation 22:20 New King James Version (NKJV)
"He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so,come, Lord Jesus!

Note:
Rivers mentioned in the following verses seem to denote Spiritual Blessings . Ps. 36:8; 46:4; Ezek 47:5-9, 12
Living Waters: Jesus, the Christ, John 4:10, 14; 7:37-38; Rev. 7:16-17

Our chapter starts with a Pure and Clear river of Life coming from the throne, flowing through the middle of the street where the Tree of Life bear fruit to eat and leaves to heal. WOW! Our relationship with the Father started with Him giving us the tree of Life in the original garden, (Gen. 2:9) and it ends with Him giving us the tree of Life. (Vs. 1-2) That one truth alone shows His forgiveness and mercy towards us! Because of the fall of the first Adam, we were cursed through sin. (Gen. 3:16-19) But, glory to the Lamb of God, our last Adam; we have been freed from that curse! (Vs. 3-5) To the faithful, He calls us the Blessed Ones, as long as we are stedfast (unmovable) in His word (Vs. 7)

Sometimes, as humans, we have tendencies to give man glory that belongs to God. We hear a revelation of truth, we see a miracle of life, or we hear a prophecy of hope, and we worship (exalt highly) the messenger, and not Him who sent him. The Lord is saying, not so don't be deceived, man can only be the conduit (channel) by which He reveals Himself. Worship God, and Him only! (Vs. 8-9)

One day is as a thousand years, or generations, to God. (2 Pet. 3:8; Gen. 2:4) We dont know His imminent coming, but rest assured, He is coming again, quickly (by surprise)! Therefore, the prophecies He has given to us are for us to walk rightly to be Holy. (Vs. 10-11, 20) We are not saved by our works, (Eph 2:9) but He will reward us by them. (Vs. 12) Thieves climb walls and go through windows to get into a dwelling, however, when we are His, we can enter through the gates, the front door. He wants us to know that those who continue in their wicked ways will not be allowed in the gates. (Vs. 14-15 Hear and know that whoever twists His words and prophecies by adding to, or take from, God shall add plagues to him and take away his part from the book of Life. So may His grace (Blessings and Favor) be with you! (Vs. 17-19, 21) !

Let Us Pray:

Father, God; I desire to live with you, forever! Help me to keep your word, your truth. Help me not to put any man before you, and your promises to me. Help me to do your commandments, in Jesus name, Amen!

Now - Go, and thirst no more!!
